This two-ounce, 99.99% pure gold coin was issued to celebrate the 95th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. Princess Elizabeth Alexandra Mary was born in London on April 21, 1926, the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York. As the eldest daughter, she was initially third in line to the throne, but the unexpected death of her father in 1936 made her heir to the throne.
